In Hebrews 10:24, it says, Let us consider how to provoke each other to love. That word is translated into English as provoked. It comes from a Sanskrit root which means voke, as in vocal, and pro which means to bring it forth. So provoke means to call forth. Messiah called forth Lazarus from the tomb. In the same way, we are to call forth that which is not, as if it were. Call forth love from others, even when people have no love, even when the situation is as hopeless as the tomb of Lazarus. You might not have joy; but call it forth in the spirit. You may not have hope; but you can provoke it and call it forth. In the power of Messiah, you have the power to call forth that which is dead and doesn't exist, as if it does. Love your enemies as if they weren't your enemies. Just as God said, Let there be light and there was light, when there was no light; let there be hope when there is no hope, blessing when there is no blessing, love where there is no love. When you were as good as dead, God called you forth to life. Go and do likewise.rn
