In the end, there are only two parties going on, two joys. The first is of the world. In the world, the party happens at the beginning so it's always fading, moving away from joy. Then there's Heaven's party and the joy of God. Heaven's party is summed up in the Biblical Feast of Tabernacles - the greatest celebration of ancient Israel. It came not at the beginning of the year, but at the end, in the autumn. God's biggest celebration comes at the end. That means, the more you go on, the more joyful it gets. The world's party is always fading, but God's party is always growing. If you live by the flesh, you'll always be moving away from joy. If you live by the Spirit, your joy will always increase. You have to choose - the party of this world or the party of heaven, the joy of the flesh, or the joy of the Lord. One is already fading, the other is just beginning. Forsake the flesh and all its temptations. Live by the Spirit and the party, and your joy will never end.rn
