Of Decision In Proverbs 13 verse 4 it is written: "The soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat." In a land where food was often scarce, it speaks of abundance. The soul which ends up abundant is the Hebrew word "Charootz." It means not only diligent but decisive. It can be translated, "..the soul of the decisive shall be made fat.'" The word of God is making a connection - abundance is linked to decisiveness. If you want abundance in God, you have to be decisive. When it came to your salvation, God wasn't indecisive, but most decidedly decisive. When it came to dying for you, His love was decisive. There's only one way to receive it, and all the blessings He gives... decisively. The Lord says "Choose this day whom you will serve." When it comes to the love of God, the gospel, His call on your life - be decisive. Set your heart on that one direction you know you must go. Maybe you've never been decisive about anything. It's a new day. Choose to be decisive and your life will become decisively blessed.
