From the cradle to the grave there will be pressure for you to conform to the majority and to follow the crowd. It is never easy to stand alone or with the few. But the majority is almost always wrong. The majority wanted to stone Moses to death. In the days of Elijah, the majority worshiped Baal and opposed the prophets. The majority cried out to crucify the Messiah, and approved of throwing Christians to the lions. In Russia the majority followed Stalin, and in China - Mao, and in Germany - Hitler. The majority believes that adultery is just an affair, that fornication is just living together, that homosexuality is just an alternate lifestyle, that killing unborn children is a right. If the majority chastises you, who cares? The majority has a track record of being wrong. Forget the majority. Your job is to stand with God. For the minority plus God - for you plus God - are greater than the majority!rn
