Stand Before Kings

In the Bible, God's people are often called to appear before kings and to go before the rulers of their time. Moses goes before Pharaoh. David stands before the great giant and fighter, Goliath. Esther appears before Ahasuerus, the king. Peter stands before the Sanhedrin. Paul is going to go to Caesar. God's people are called to walk into throne rooms and approach kings, generals, and powerful, mighty men. Ephesians says that we struggle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers and principalities. The Greek word for rulers is arche, which means we fight with the top guys, which means that in Messiah we must have incredible power or authority. Messiah said that all authority was given to Him, so we are to go in the authority of the Great Commission. You can go before kings because you have the power and authority of the King of Kings! So live strong, confidently, powerfully, and authoritatively. Overcome that sin or whatever it is that hinders. Because of Messiah, you have the power, even the power to stand before kings.rn
