The Lots Of Your Inheritance

It is written in Joshua 14 that the Promised Land was apportioned. The territories were given to each one by the lot of their inheritance - the casting of lots. Joshua 18 describes, Joshua, himself casting the lots. Lots were used on the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur, and also on the Feast of Purim, which means "The Feast of Lots." They inherited the Promised Land through the casting of lots. You look at the world or your life and it seems like things are just happening by chance - by the casting of lots. You don't see God's purpose moving ahead. That's when you need to remember the lots of the Promised Land. If you're following God, everything in your life will be moving and working together in God to bring about God's promises of your calling. So just keep walking, moving forward, and pressing on, and keep loving and being faithful to God. As a child of God, know that everything in your life is going to lead you to your inheritance of blessings in the land of milk and honey.rn
