The Dust Does Not Disqualify You

If you're a believer, there's a call in your life. But, there's a good chance there's also sin in your life. The two don't go together. Maybe it's been a struggle. You may feel unworthy or maybe you feel disqualified. Isaiah 52:2 says, "Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; loose yourself from the chains around your neck." It's a picture of God calling His people to rise up from the dirt and break free of every hindrance. Dust and chains don't disqualify you from your calling. God calls people who have to deal with sin. You have to choose to rise up from the dirt and get that sin out of your life. Choose to break free from that bondage. If you have sin in your life, let it inspire you to know that you are called to rise up from that sin. Shake it out of your life; break its bond, because your sin has not disqualified you from your calling. God is calling you to rise up and be free once and for all. rn
