No Hymns Of Self-Pity

The Bible says if you're born again, you become Jewish in spirit. Many believers don't realize the word Jew comes from the Hebrew word Yehudi. It means praise. So if you are a child of God, you have to be characterized by praise, giving thanks, speaking positively, and lifting up. Every time you complain, gossip, or speak with a critical spirit, you're sinning against your own Jewish nature. Complaint goes against praise. Think about it; have you ever heard a hymn of complaint? A hymn of gossip or self-pity? How about the hymn, "I'm Always Being Mistreated?" No. You've never heard any hymn like that because it wouldn't be a hymn, it has no joy. Complaint has no joy - but a life of praise is filled with joy. Learn how to praise in all things, to give thanks and you will be truly one of the Chosen People, the Yehudim, the Jewish of heart, the very praise of God. And your life will become a hymn, a song of praise.rn
