The Calendar That Changes

The Lord says to Moses in Exodus 12:2, "This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year for you." It meant that the spring month of Nisan wasn't the first month; it was, most likely, the seventh month. It would be as if God took July from our calendar, and suddenly made it January. This is profound. When you accept Messiah into your life, the whole calendar of your life is changed - you get a new beginning. We are all born into the world's calendar: you're born, you grow old and you die. But, there is great news for you! There's another calendar. It's God's calendar, where everything becomes continually new. In His calendar, you actually grow younger, purer, fresher and newer; because scripture says that those who are led by the Spirit, walk in the newness of life. So, tear up your old calendar. Stop living by the flesh and start living by the Spirit. For in God's calendar, the older you get...the younger you are. rn
