The Capstone of Your Life

A friend of mine once preached a sermon and left the pulpit upset. He said, "I feel like my sermon was incomplete, it was missing something." I said to him, "The day you preach a perfect sermon, you can give up the ministry." The truth is, the day you deliver a message that is complete in itself, then you're not preaching the Gospel. Because the Gospel says that only Messiah makes things complete. In Hebrew the Messiah is called the Rosha Stone. It means the cornerstone but it also means the capstone. It is the stone that finishes the Temple - that makes it complete. Only Messiah makes your life complete. Your marriage, work, accomplishments, ministry, sermons, worship, none of these will ever be complete in themselves. But that's the way it's supposed to be because Messiah is your Rosh, the capstone of your life. Only He makes it complete. There will always be loose ends, and gaps. But be at peace. That missing space is His space. Stop struggling and let Him complete your life. And He will for He is your completion - the Rosh Stone.
