When I was a boy, I didn't really like baseball. So, I would always be sure to take right field as my position. The beautiful thing about right field is that since most players swing from the right and hit the ball to the left, it leaves right field with very little action. So, you'd go out to right field to relax. I used to stand in right field, looking at the trees and the sky, planning my weekend. Well, that's o.k. in a boy's game of baseball, but it's not o.k. in life with God. It's easy to sit back in God and try to just hang out on the sidelines. But it never works. You might say, "I'm not a minister." But we're all ministers. "I'm not a missionary." We're all missionaries. You've got a special part to play in God's purposes. So, get off the sidelines and get out there. And you'll live a glorious life. And you'll thank me. There's no right field in the Great Commission. rn
