Peter and Judas both betrayed the Lord. Judas could have repented and been forgiven by the Lord. And Peter could have chosen not to repent but to stay in regret, condemnation, and sin. And thus, we would have ended up with the Book of the Apostle Judas, a betrayer of the Lord who found forgiveness and a life of grace. On the other hand, we could have ended up without the two books of Peter. Instead, we have Peter's example of a betrayer of the Lord who repented and found God's forgiveness. So, while there is a book of Peter, there's no book of Judas. Why? It's not because of what they did in betraying the Lord, but what they did after they betrayed the Lord that matters most. Peter, unlike Judas, chose not to be crippled by sin and regret and by God's grace, he rose up. You need to do the same. No matter what got you down, even your own faults and sins, get up and get going. Because in the end, it's not what you did that matters, but what you do afterwards.rn

Have you sinned or failed in any way? We all have. Don't be like Judas and live in regret. Be like Peter - give it to God, repent and go even further in your call to glorify God. rn
