The Conditions Of The Spirit

When Messiah gave a command, He expected exact obedience. So, he expected obedience when He told the disciples to, "tarry at Jerusalem until ye be endued with power," Imagine if the disciples didn't stay in Jerusalem. Had they not done so, the Spirit would have never come and the blessings of Pentecost would have been forfeited. God's blessings and obedience go together. God has so many blessings for us, but they are attached to our obedience. God told the Israelites, eager to enter the Land of Promise, "If ye obey, ye shall eat of the fruit of the land, but if ye rebel, you shall be devoured." And so it is with us. The question is, are you obeying Messiah? Are you doing what He said in His Word? His blessings are based on conditions, and those are conditions of our obedience. Is your life in God's will? Are you listening to His voice? If not, get back into the Spirit, and perfect your obedience. For the Spirit is coming but you have to be in the right place to receive Him and His blessings.rn
