The Shell Of The Heavenly Creature

Messiah said, "You must be born again". In nature, the butterfly can be seen as a symbol of new life. It spends part of its life crawling around as a worm, a caterpillar. Then it enters its shell, dies, and is reborn as a beautiful butterfly, symbolic of a heavenly creature. One of these butterflies is called a Monarch, signifying royalty. Between the worm and the butterfly, is a stage called chrysalis. During chrysalis, the caterpillar is entombed in its shell. Then, a transformation occurs, resulting in the birth of the butterfly or Monarch. And so it is with us. Our life of sin is like the caterpillar, a worm. But in Messiah comes a transformation, as if entering a chrysalis. He transforms us from an earthbound creature into a heavenly one. So you are to be transformed into a new creation in Messiah. The shells of sin and oldness are to be broken. Break free of your shell and like the butterfly, live heavenly in Messiah.rn
