Paradises Of The Godless

Hitler promised a thousand-year kingdom of glory for the Aryan people. Stalin promised a worker's paradise, and Mao promised China a people's paradise. At least 6 million Jews perished under Hitler. Stalin's Soviet regime killed an estimated 35 - 45 million people. And Chinese Communism is responsible for the death of 35 to 64 million. Why instead of producing paradise, did they all produce hell? The answer is simple. These regimes proclaimed that the state was god. They all denied the reality of the one true, living God. And that's what happens when you remove God, you get destruction, and death, but in Messiah is light and life. If Messiah isn't the center of your life, then your center is empty. But with Messiah at the center, the joy of the Lord is your strength! Yet, Messiah doesn't offer Paradise without a cross. We are called to follow Him and take up the cross. It doesn't appear glorious but it does result in spiritual joy and fullness. So, turn down the way of the world. We don't need Hitler, Stalin, or Mao. We have Messiah, and He is life.rn
