Seeing Khananyah First

Monday, January 18, 2021

When Paul (Saul) comes to salvation and his eyes were opened, the first thing he saw was Ananias. In English, Ananias doesn't mean much, but in Hebrew his real name was Khananyah. Yah means "God," as in Yahweh, and Khanan means "grace" - which means that the first thing that Paul saw when he got saved was Khanan-Yah, the grace of God. That is the first thing that any of us can see when we get saved, the grace of God. We have to keep seeing Khananyah in all things. If you want to keep growing in God, then never stop seeing Khananyah, the grace of God. Never take it for granted, never get dulled to it, never forget where you came from, never forget that you shouldn't have it, and never forget that we have no right to it, but always be surprised by it. Always see it new each day and be amazed that God saved you from hell and seated you in heavenly places because He loved you. Never stop seeing, never stop beholding, and never stop keeping first, in your mind and heart, the grace of God, Khananyah.rn

Today's Mission

Is God foremost in your mind and heart? It is by His grace that we are saved through faith. It is a gift from God (Eph. 2:8). Keep Him first.rn
