God's Holy Opportunists

The word opportunist usually refers to those who seek to get ahead at the expense of others. They have no regard for what is right. They use people and anything for selfish ambition and are always seeking an opportunity to advance their agenda. This is to be condemned. But, you as a believer, are called to be a spiritual opportunist, a holy opportunist. In other words, you're called to use every opportunity for the will and glory of God. Opportunists in the world use higher things for lower purposes. But you're called to do the opposite. Use everything in your life for the highest purposes for God. The perfect example is Paul. He used his problems, his imprisonment, his chains, his trials and everything for God's Kingdom and His glory. So, too, there are opportunities all around you. Use everything in your life for God. Use your circumstances, possessions, position, connections, relationships, gifts and talents. Use also your problems and your challenges. Use every situation for the glory of God. Become the Lord's Holy Opportunist! rn
