Taking The Life Out Of Christmas

Most of the world celebrates Christmas on December 25th, and in the world's eyes, the story ends with the manger. Christmas becomes a holiday that comes and goes. But that's missing the point. Messiah's birth is not simply an event - It's the beginning of new life. Experiences can be good or bad. But Myriam, Mary, knew what to do with events. The Bible tells us, "But Miriam treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart." Without taking the things of God to heart, it's all nothing - just an experience. When you live by experiences, life becomes an empty shell. But when you take God's love and God's presence into your heart and live it, you become steadfast, independent of experiences. Regardless of what happens around you, you'll have inner peace and fullness that will keep you. Take the event, and the life that Christmas is supposed to be about, take it out of Christmas and live it every day of your life. Collect the things of God and treasure them in your heart. Go beyond an event and carry Christmas in your heart every day.rn
