The Irrationality Of Science

People say the Bible is not scientific and only science is logical and rational. Let's consider the most basic question of science and see if scientific logic or the Bible makes more sense. Why does the universe exist? There are only two possible answers.The universe just is or the universe does have a cause. Under the first choice, the universe just is, with no cause. Now, this totally contradicts every tenet of science because there must be a cause to every effect. To say the universe "just is" means it had no cause which makes no sense. Under choice two, the universe has a cause. That cause must be something other than itself because the universe cannot cause itself. Something outside of the universe must have caused it. And being outside the universe, it cannot be natural but supernatural. The supernatural embraces God, as the Bible says. So, the point is, when you take all man's logic and rationality, you end up with something that defies science and turns human rationality upside down. Either you end up with something that makes no sense at all or you end up with God.
