The Shekhina And His Birth

Jewish people have often had a problem with the virgin birth. Some argue that Isaiah 7 doesn't really mean, "virgin." In the rabbinical writings it is said that Messiah will be born by the power of the Shekhina. The Shekhina is the Glory of God: the glorious presence of God which would descend in the Tabernacle. In the Gospel of Luke, it is recorded that the power of the Most High overshadowed the virgin Miryam, Mary, and Messiah was born. So Messiah is born not only of Miryam, He is born of you. When you received Him, He was born of you. With Him is born all good things that come from God, born in you along with Messiah, born by the new birth. Your love, your faith, your hope, your purity, and the changes that came into your life, it all came from God. So, be like Miryam and let the glory of God and the power of the Most High overshadow you each day, that Messiah be formed within you, and born through you, and your life will be filled with His blessings. rn
