Generally, when a couple goes out to eat, it's not the woman waiting for the man to come out of the restroom, but the man waiting for the woman. A man is pretty much what he is, but a woman has the power to re-create herself. There's a spiritual message in this - for we are the Bride and we are on earth to prepare ourselves to marry the King. So too, in an ancient Hebrew marriage, the bride often took a year to prepare herself for her bridegroom. This is the reason you're here on earth. You aren't here to make money, a name for yourself, for popularity, or to become comfortable. You're here to become beautiful for your King. In all the troubling circumstances of life that can make others become ugly, God will use them, and you are to use them to become beautiful. This earth is a cosmic bridal chamber, with mirrors all around to tell you how you're doing. No matter who you are, you're the Bride for Messiah, so get into that chamber known as the presence of God and start becoming beautiful! rn
