The Corners Of Your Field

A divine lesson from the fields of Israel. Every year in ancient times, the Jewish people would go into the fields of the Promised Land and reap the Katzeer, the Hebrew word for the harvest. All God's children need to learn the unique law of the Katzeer, both the earthly and the heavenly. What is it? It is to not reap the ends or corners of your land but leave them for the poor and the stranger that they may be fed, too. What this means is that you're to live with a surplus consciousness - a spirit of "more than enough." That means to stop living with a consciousness of debt and shortage. Renounce the belief that there is never enough. In God and in faith there's more than enough, there's extra, leftovers, and all cups are overflowing. To make this real, choose to give away portions of what you have in possessions, money, time, energy, and love - the corners of your field. Learn from the Law of the Katzeer and the joy of letting go. For when you give, your life becomes filled with God's abundance and your cup and your field will overflow.
