The Story of Joseph is fast -paced and exciting. He was rejected by his brothers, sold into slavery and left for dead. After many years, his brothers appear before the Egyptian throne. They must plead for their lives. But they have no idea that the Egyptian ruler before whom they stand is their long lost brother. They can't see through the Egyptian make-up but beneath that alien make-up is their Hebrew brother, Joseph. So Joseph is a foreshadow of Messiah. This reveals that most of Messiah's brothers will not recognize Him. When they look at Him they'll see Him as a stranger. He looks like the King of the Gentiles. So when the Jewish people look at Messiah, they see a stranger. They don't realize that He's their long lost brother and the most Jewish person that ever lived. Two thousand years of church history and persecution have created Egyptian makeup. It's all foreign to them. So pray, all the more, that the veil will be removed and they'll see that the light of the Gentiles is also their brother, their own Jewish Messiah.rn
