During the Feast of Tabernacles, God's people gave thanks to the Lord for the harvest, the Promised Land, and for all their blessings. The Feast of Tabernacles is a foreshadow of the kingdom of God. Revelation 7:12 speaks of Heaven and says, "...Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving." Thanksgiving is a part of the Feast of Tabernacles, which is a foreshadow of Heaven where thanksgiving is a common attribute. Do you want to live a heavenly life now? Then start by giving thanks. Start by praising the Lord for everything in your life. The great thing about thanksgiving is that even if you think you don't have much to be thankful for, the more you give thanks to the Lord, the more you realize just how much you really do have to be thankful for. Heaven is a dynamic place of gratitude - a place of giving thanks. The Heavenly life is a life of thanksgiving. The Bible says that God's will for your life is to, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks." Live a life full of thanksgiving - and you'll live a heavenly life!rn
