There's an order to the Passover meal contained in an ancient book called the Hagaddah. It says this: "In every generation each individual is bound to regard himself as if he had gone personally forth from Egypt." It goes on to say, "And you shall relate to your child on that day saying, this is an account of what the Eternal did for me, when I went forth from Egypt." So, each generation is to regard Passover not as a long past historical event but as if they just came out of Egypt too. Apply this same principle to Messiah as our Passover lamb. One of the biggest mistakes believers make is to think of Yeshua dying on the cross as if it were simply a past event. The key is to take the Passover and Messiah personally. Take the cross personally, as if you were on it with Him - because you were. Accept the Passover and Calvary not simply as an event that happened a long time ago, in a place far away, but as if it happened today, in your life personally - because it does.rn

Take Messiah's death personally as if you were there on the cross with Him and as if the cross is here and now - because in Him you were and is. rn
