Getting The First Rung

You can't go up a ladder with a missing rung. It doesn't matter how high or good the ladder is, without all the rungs, you won't go anywhere and its potential will be wasted. It's the same in your walk with God. If you have a missing rung, you won't be able to climb or ascend spiritually. Our lives often have at least one missing thing - a little thing - but so important it can make or break our walk. The difference between a successful or unsuccessful walk, a life of blessings and victory, IS JUST ONE RUNG and usually the first rung is the missing one. There are so many things we should do for a victorious walk in the Lord but often we never do them because we're missing a rung - the first step. A journey of a thousand miles cannot begin without the first step. A ladder that reaches up to Heaven can't begin without the first rung. That first step seems the hardest but when you take it, you're finally on your way for the Lord. Take just one small step today toward your goal -up the ladder to glory!rn
