The Way To End a Nightmare

When I was a boy, I would have nightmares about hands reaching up from under the bed, running away from monsters, falling off a cliff, or taking a test in school again and again and again. You had nightmares, too. The enemy likes to see God's people living out their nightmares. It's a nightmare to live your life in fear, bitterness, or depression. For some people, everything's a crisis; it seems they're always stressed out or waiting for the next bad thing to happen. Living like that can be a nightmare. But Messiah gives you the power to awaken out of any nightmare. How do we know? The Bible says, "Wake up, oh sleeper, wake up and Messiah will shine His light on you." No matter what you're going through, Messiah has the power to wake you up out of it. So don't stay in a nightmare. Lift your eyes off your problems and to God, and you'll wake up in the light of Heaven.
