The Purpose of Your Trials

When Believers go through tests they often say, "Pray for me, I'm being tested. I'm going through a real trial." We think of trials as bad things. However, if it's a test, it means there's a purpose behind it. When you're going through a test, it's not the real thing. Boot Camp is not real war. The Emergency Broadcasting Test on television is a simulation, not the real thing. So, when you're going through a problem or tribulation in the Lord, it's also a simulation. You might say, "It is a pretty good simulation of a problem," and it has to be, otherwise it wouldn't be a true test. A test from God always has a purpose behind it. Therefore, it's ultimately not a problem. It's something for your good, to move you ahead and to prepare you for greater things. Don't complain about your test, trial, or tribulation. Know that you are blessed because no matter what you are going through, it's only a test and it's designed especially for you by the Lord to move you on to something much greater in His plans for your life!
