Proverbs 13: 4 says, "The soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat." In a land where food was often scarce, the Proverb speaks of abundance. The soul with abundance is referred to by the Hebrew word, charootz which means to be not only diligent but decisive. Proverbs 13:4 can be translated, "The soul of the decisive shall be made fat." The word of God is making a connection there, linking abundance to decisiveness. If you want abundance in God, you must be decisive. When it came to your salvation, God wasn't indecisive, He was thoroughly decisive. When it came to dying for your salvation, Messiah's love was decisive. The Lord says, "Choose ye this day whom you will serve," a call to decisiveness. When it comes to the love of God, the Gospel, His call on your life, be decisive. Set your heart in one direction. Maybe you've never been decisive about anything in your life. Well, it's a new day so choose to be decisive and your life will become decisively blessed!
