Bringing Messiah's Nectar

The honeybee's job is to seek out a nectar-filled flower. Once it finds one, it sucks up the nectar into its straw-like proboscis then returns to the hive to bring the nectar home and to share the good news of its discovery. That's when the other honeybees smell the fragrance of the flower on the honeybee and get excited. In the same way, Christians are blessed with something better than honey and so we can't keep it to ourselves. The Bible speaks of the fragrance of Messiah. When people come near you, they should pick up the aroma of Messiah's nature, His presence, and His love. When you bear Messiah's fragrance, you become a living, breathing, witness of Him everywhere you go. How does the honeybee acquire the fragrance of the flower? It immerses itself in the flower. You're the honeybee and Messiah is the Rose of Sharon. Do the same thing. Immerse yourself in Him. Spend more time in His presence. Then the fragrance of Messiah on you will make people wonder what you have and they will desire it too. It is the fragrance of Messiah that creates the buzz! rn
