The Resurrection and the Criminal Charge

The first charge made against the Resurrection by the enemies of the faith was that the disciples stole the body of Yeshua. That means the disciples were involved in a hoax and lied about it - criminal acts. But to go from such criminal behaviors, stealing and lying, to the Book of Acts, just doesn't add up. A miracle produces fearlessness and confidence. That happened fifty days after the crucifixion. They lost their fear of death; that would only happen through something as major as the Resurrection. The Book of Acts is the testimony of the Resurrection. That's true not just for the apostles, but for you. The proof that Messiah rose in your life is that you have your own Book of Acts. If you're living the power of the Resurrection, then you'll be living in the Book of Acts. Live every day from fear to confidence, darkness to light, immorality to purity, sorrow to joy. Live the Book of Acts. The power of the Spirit, boldness, confidence, and joy, and all the arguments will fall apart. The best evidence of the Gospel, is Acts.
