You're One of the Anointed Fruits

Have you ever wondered why the Spirit came the day He did? Perhaps you've wondered why they spoke in tongues, or why all the people at Pentecost were baptized? To answer such questions, you have to understand the law of the bikoreem - the first fruits. Before the summer harvest began, God gave Israel a Feast of First Fruits called Shavuot, in which they would make holy all reaped things in the great summer harvest, by offering up its first fruits. In Greek, it received the name Pentecostes or Pentecost. At Pentecost 2,000 years ago, God was offering up the first fruits of the harvest to come - the harvest of the age. If you ever wondered whether God really accepts you or whether you're really declared holy, God has declared it. He sealed it 2,000 years ago on the day of First Fruits - Shavuot - Pentecost. You are received. Your life was counted in. Your life was registered on that day and declared holy. So now live in a manner worthy of that counting - a life of holiness and victory by the Spirit of God.
