The High Priestess Of Oshun

I was in Nigeria on a mission approaching the shrine of the god, Oshun. The high priestess of Oshun was watching us on a nearby hill. Someone in our group offered her a Bible. She said, "No." The person then offered her a Bible a second time. This time she accepted. I then spoke to her about salvation. At the end, I asked, "Do you want to receive Jesus into your life?" She said, "Yes." I led her in a prayer of salvation. When we finished praying, she was glowing as much as I have ever seen anyone glow in the Lord. There are a lot of people living in darkness. We often judge them as part of the enemy's camp and build a wall of separation in our hearts. But when the Lord saw us in darkness, He didn't say, "You are part of the enemy's camp. Stay away from Me." Instead, He reached out to us. Remember where you were before you knew the Lord. Do likewise. Reach out. For you never know - there could be a high priestess of a pagan god waiting for you to bring her into the light.
