The Lightness Of The Spirit

Everything in the world has weight. Everything has mass. Mass is affected by gravity. But the wind has no real mass, gravity, or weight. The Hebrew word for wind is Ruach. Ruach also means Spirit, as in Ruach Ha Kodesh, the Holy Wind or the Holy Spirit. The flesh, on the other hand, has weight and your life will get weighed down if you live by the flesh. But the Spirit, as with the wind, has no weight. So Messiah says, "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened down and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, my yoke is easy and my burden is light." If you live by the flesh, you'll get weighed down. But if you live by the Spirit, your burden will be light. So give yourself a break today. Lighten your load. Let go of the flesh and of things. Live by the Spirit. Walk by the Spirit. Think by the Spirit. Rejoice in the Spirit. Let the Spirit be your only real possession and you won't be weighed down anymore. Live by the Spirit and you will live as weightless as the wind.
