Becoming an Adult

We spend the first part of our lives preparing for the second part. Most of our childhood is about growing up, learning how to be an adult. But in God, it's the opposite. Adulthood is about preparing for childhood. In the first part of life, you didn't have the chance to learn how to be a child. You were too busy learning how to be an adult. But if you're born again, it's different. Messiah said, "Unless you are changed and become like a little child, you will not enter the kingdom of Heaven." The only ones who can be changed into little children are those who are not little children. Childhood was for preparing for adulthood. But adulthood is for preparing to become children of heaven. Drop your adult burdens. Lighten up, lift up your eyes, and behold your Daddy. Learn to be a child of the Spirit, of Heaven, for the only time to prepare for your childhood is right now.
