Messiah the Stranger

In England, there's a disease called the French Pox, but in France, that same disease is called the English Pox. The Czechoslovakian phrase for drinking too much is to drink like a Dutchman, but in Holland, it's to drink like a Pole. Each nation links foreigners with every despicable trait, vice, or disease. It's human nature to fear and stay away from foreigners, strangers, and those who are different. But Messiah gave the parable of the Good Samaritan - the foreigners are despised by the Jews and vice versa. But Messiah said, "I was a stranger and you invited Me in." What He was saying was the way you treat the stranger is the way you treat Him. For when you do it to the least of people, you do it to Him. So if you call yourself a child of God and a follower of Messiah, you'll stand before the Lord on how you treat a stranger. Do you love Messiah? Prove it. Love and bless a stranger today. Because when you love them, you're loving the Lord.
