The Second Tree Of Eden

When man partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, the result was death. But there's another tree, which also is a tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That other tree is the cross. It is both the good of God's love and the evil of man's sin. Just as sin and death came into the world through the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, so by the second tree, the cross, we have the power to become free from sin and death. Death came to the world through partaking of the fruit of the tree in the Garden of Eden. But life comes as we partake of the tree of Messiah. Never move away from the cross. Never go beyond it. Never get caught up in other teachings, movements, doctrines, idols or anything else that would take you away from Calvary. Don't just come to the cross, partake of it. By partaking of the first tree, we fell, but by partaking of the second tree, we rise to life.
