At the turn of the century, the world was plagued by a disease known as Yellow Fever. It was a deadly virus that was killing multitudes. In 1927, a West African native named Assibi contracted the disease. From his blood, scientists were able to make a vaccine. Eventually, the cure was distributed around the world. Through it, millions of people were given immunity to Yellow Fever and were saved from death. All this from the blood of one West African man. In the same way, 2,000 years ago, Messiah took upon himself the disease of sin. From His death comes blood and in His blood comes the antidote, which gives you immunity to the power of sin and death. The blood of Messiah is the great inoculation for all sin, evil, and death. Receive the power of that blood and you'll overcome it all. Let the blood of Messiah touch every part of your life. For the blood of Assibi saved multitudes from Yellow Fever, but the blood of Messiah saves us from the power of sin - and for all eternity.
