Don't Step on the Dog!

A man walked into a store and saw a sign that said, "Beware of the dog." He looked around for the dangerous animal but the only thing he could see was a very small terrier that couldn't have harmed a fly. He was puzzled. This couldn't be the dog that the sign was referring to. So he asked the manager if this was the dog to be aware of. The manager answered, "Yes.... Until I put up the sign, people were always stepping on it." The attitude that many believers have regarding the enemy is similar - fear. But God tells us just the opposite - never fear the enemy. So David said, "I will fear no evil." If you live in God's will and you walk in His power, you don't have to fear evil or the enemy. Rather, it will be the enemy who fears you. If you live in Messiah, the enemy will be like that dog where the only issue is that of stepping on him - which, by the way, is exactly what you're supposed to do - and exactly where he belongs, under your feet!
