Messiah in Disguise

Joseph was rejected by his brothers, sold into slavery and left for dead. After many years, his brothers appeared before the Egyptian throne to plead for their lives. They had no idea that the Egyptian ruler before whom they stood was their long lost brother. All they saw was an Egyptian. They couldn't see through the Egyptian make-up. But underneath was their Hebrew brother, Joseph. Even the rabbis saw the story of Joseph as a foreshadow of Messiah. So, too,rnmost of Messiah's brothers, the Jewish people, have not recognized Him. He looks foreign to them, with Egyptian make-up, the god of the Gentiles. They don't realize that He's their long lost brother and the most Jewish person that ever lived. Two thousand years of church history and persecution have created Egyptian makeup that obscures Him to His own brothers. So pray, all the more, that the veil will be removed and they'll see that beneath two thousand years of make-up, is their long lost brother - Yeshua, their Messiah.
