The Suicide Plan Gone Wrong

Richard Wurmbrand was the leader of the underground church in Romania. He was imprisoned by the Communists. While in prison, his captors would torture him attempting to get more information on other believers. Fearing that he would break under torture, he devised a plan - he would commit suicide. Each night he received a sleeping pill from the infirmary. But instead of taking them, he put them all in his pillowcase. Finally when he had enough to commit suicide, the guards came in and changed the bed sheets and the pillow case. He said, "Alright Lord, You're keeping me alive, so You're going have to give me the strength to hold on." He never broke under torture. You too might be wondering if you're strong enough in the Lord to hold up in temptation, hard times, and the days to come. But it's not about how strong you are - it's about how strong He is. The Scripture tell us to be strong in the power of His might. It's about His faithfulness and His power to keep you. Entrust it to Him and become strong in His might.
