The first words in the Bible are, "In the beginning, God created...." That very first sentence breaks the rules of Hebrew. The word for God is Elohim. It's plural. But the word for created is singular. God is both plural and singular. Right there, you have the triune nature of God. The rabbis who turned away from Jesus cannot be looked to as spiritual authorities. And yet, despite this, some of their writings amazingly bear witness of Messiah - and the Trinity. They write this: "So it is with the mystery of the threefold divine manifestation designated by Yahweh, three modes which yet form one unity." They're saying that God is three and one! And the mystery appears in that very first sentence of the Bible. The word Elohim tells us that God is always bigger than we think He is. It means whatever you think God is, He's always greater and there's always more. Therefore, never stop seeking Him. Never stop getting closer to Him. For the only way to contain the One who is uncontainable is to stay open and to never stop seeking Him.
