Nullifying Gravity

We think of gravity as having to do with the earth and planets. But it's more than just that. Everything has gravity - a book, a pencil, even you, yourself, have gravity. Every object exerts gravitational force. And then there's spiritual gravity. When you get wrapped up in things, your mind and your heart get pulled toward them. You become weighed down. They consume your thoughts. But Messiah said, "Come to me, you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest... My yoke is easy and my burden is light." Unload your burdens and you will get rid of all that gravity weighing you down. Thus it is written, "Cast your anxieties upon Him." He took all of your sins and your burdens on the cross. But you have to give them to Him. Let go and give up your ownership of the things that burden you. Without those things, there's no gravity. And without gravity, there's nothing holding you down. Give up all things for Him and your heart will become light... and your life will become gravity free!
