The Words Of The Enemy

The Assyrian army surrounded Jerusalem when King Hezekiah was inside. They taunted and threatened to destroy Israel. God gave a word to Hezekiah through the prophet Isaiah, saying, "Do not be afraid of the words you have heard in which the king of Assyria has blasphemed against Me." God is saying, "Don't be afraid of their words." He doesn't say, "Do not fear their power", but "Do not be afraid of their words." It's about the words. Why? God is saying, "It's all just words and threats to harass you, but they're empty." The Bible says, "If God is for you, who can be against you?" No one. It also says, that God will work all things for the good. If God is for you then all of your problems and troubles and every attack of the enemy are ultimately empty. And on top of that, they're all going to turn into blessings. So stop worrying. If you're in God's will, then all that is against you and all your fears will turn out to be just like the Assyrian's threats - nothing but empty words.
