The Lady On My Phone Line

One day I picked up the phone and, instead of a dial tone, I heard a woman's voice, I hung up. I picked up the phone again and again heard the woman's voice. The third time I said, "Hi, can you hear me?" She said, "Yeah." It turned out, she lived across the street from me and had been there for years. It took the crossed wires to get us to talk to each other. This is true for many of us. We know more about what's going on across the world than across the street. We live next door to people who we never really get to know. There are so many people in our lives who need the Gospel. Messiah says, "Go and preach the Gospel to all creation." "Love your neighbor as yourself." Bless all of the people in your life. Starting with those who are closest to you, your neighbors, co-workers, and family. Just do it. It's a lot better than waiting for the wires to get crossed.
