The Testimony Of The Sanhedrin

The Sanhedrin was an actual court with the power to hold trials. If the Sanhedrin leveled the charge that the resurrection was a hoax based on a stolen body, why is there no record even of a trial in the books of Sanhedrin in the Talmud? Because they didn't have any evidence to back up the charge. Otherwise they could have stopped the Gospel. But what they proved by their charge instead was that the tomb was empty. Kings rise and fall, armies march and fade, but Yeshua, Jesus, "is the same yesterday, today and forever." From the time of the Sanhedrin onward, there has been no force on earth able to stop the power of His resurrection. And so too in your life, no matter what things look like, no matter how hopeless or overwhelming, remember, in the end, evil is only a bluff. The good will triumph, the light will conquer, and the power of Messiah will overcome that of every Sanhedrin, council and kingdom on earth. He's alive, risen and unconquered and if you live and walk in His light, so too are you.
