I've known people who have been imprisoned for their faith. They told me of a secret they learned - the secret learned by Paul. When Paul was imprisoned, he sang songs of praise. So too, imprisoned Christians of Communist Europe used their chains as musical instruments to praise God. They learned to shine no matter what. It will be the same in heaven - it glows and it shines.rnIt's filled with God and has no need of the sun or moon. If you're a child of God, you're a heavenly being. Therefore, it's your nature to shine. But your situations are not of heaven - they are of the earth and therefore, they can't shine. So what do you do about those earthly situations, problems, and troubles? Don't complain about them and don't lose your peace. You are heavenly, so shine into it all, because it's your nature and your calling. Shine into that problem, trouble, need, crisis, or darkness. Shine into your own life and the lives of those around you. It's only natural. For the things of heaven are born to shine!
