The Messiah of Levi 18

Most Jewish people are taught that they can't believe in Yeshua, Jesus as the Jewish Messiah. Yet an ancient extra-biblical Jewish writing, the Testament of Levi, chapter 18, describes the Jewish Messiah this way: "At the time of His priesthood, the nations shall increase in knowledge upon the earth. In His priesthood shall sin come to an end... He shall open the gates of paradise... He shall give to the saints to eat from the Tree of Life. He shall bind Satan." Everything it says about Messiah, His priesthood, His ending of sin, His opening paradise, the Tree of Life, is fulfilled in only one man - the Carpenter from Nazareth, Yeshua, Jesus. Yet religious Jews are still searching for Messiah even after His coming. And even we who know Him can make the same mistake. We can seek fulfillment and joy and love from every other source, even though He, who is the only fulfillment, has already come into our lives. Don't make the mistake of Israel and miss all the blessings that are right in front of your eyes, because you were too busy looking elsewhere.rn
