The "Lost Tribes of Israel" refers to the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom that were destroyed by Assyria in 722 B.C. Assyrian records speak of the people of Naphtali being placed on the border with Media. Just beyond that border today is Uzbekistan and the city of Bukhara. Benjamin Tudela, a 12th century traveler, confirmed in his writings that there was a Hebrew tribe dwelling in that region that claimed to be one of the lost tribes. Even a 19th century British missionary and explorer confirmed that there was a tribe in Bukhara that identified itself with one of the lost tribes. The Book of Revelation says that 144,000 from the tribes will appear in the last days, which includes the lost tribes. So if God can take the Lost Tribes of Israel and make them un-lost, then there's nothing so lost in your life that God can't redeem it. So, don't ever give up on your situation or that person you care about.
