Letting the Father Lift You Up

Deuteronomy 1:31 says, "...the Lord carries you as a man carries his son..." We all need to be lifted up, and what loving father doesn't want to lift his child up into his arms? When you were little, people picked you up, but there was something you had to do first that you now probably don't remember. It's hard to pick up a child when he keeps his arms at his side. But a child who wants to be picked up, will immediately open up and lift his arms so he can be grabbed and lifted up into the air. Yes, you're much bigger now and your problems seem very heavy, but you still need to be lifted up - and God's arms are strong. Now He's stretching His arms out to you. So drop what you're holding onto and lift up the arms of your heart. He wants to lift you up so you can be far above all your problems. If you open up the arms of your heart in faith, you'll see the amazing truth...in the arms of God, your troubles are light and you will be lifted up into the heavenlies.rn
